Zoom Integration Guide

Connecting your Zoom account allows Xabi to add Zoom meetings to your calendar events. Xabi can dynamically choose between Google Meet, Zoom, or no video conferencing at all — based on context and your preferences

This guide explains how to connect, use, and disconnect your Zoom account with Xabi.

Connecting Xabi to Zoom

To use Zoom with Xabi, you need to authorize the Zoom integration. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Xabi Dashboard
Log in to Xabi and navigate to the Apps tab in your dashboard.

  2. Find Zoom Integration
Locate Zoom in the Apps list and click the “Connect Zoom” button.

  3. Sign in to Zoom
A new window will open. If you’re not already signed in to Zoom, enter your credentials.

  4. Authorize Xabi on Zoom
You will now see Zoom’s OAuth consent screen. This screen asks you to grant Xabi permission to create meetings on your behalf.

    • Click “Authorize” to grant access.

    • Note: You do not need to check the box that says “Allow this app to use my shared access permissions.” Checking this box has no additional effect.

  5. Redirect back to Xabi
After authorizing, you’ll return to the Xabi dashboard where Zoom will appear as connected.

Using Zoom with Xabi

Once Zoom is connected, Xabi can include Zoom links in your calendar events when scheduling meetings. Here’s how it works:

Disconnecting Zoom from Xabi

If you wish to remove the Zoom integration from Xabi, follow these steps:

  1. In the Apps tab of your Xabi dashboard, click the “Disconnect” button next to Zoom.

  2. You will be redirected to your Zoom App Marketplace dashboard.

  3. Zoom may prompt you to log in again before proceeding.

  4. Navigate to:
Personal App ManagementAdded AppsApps in Production
(Don’t worry — the redirect will land you here automatically.)

  5. Find Xabi in the list and click “Remove”.

  6. Once removed, Xabi will no longer be connected to your Zoom account, and this will be reflected in your dashboard.
